Summer has officially arrived and Dara just completed her 2nd grade year at Kingsway. It's hard to believe that another year has passed by so quickly, but here we are with an almost 8 year old on our hands! To celebrate the finish of Dara's 2nd Grade year we have a few photos of her last couple of days at school and we also celebrated her outstanding report card by surprising Dara with the hard-to-find Whimsy Dragon from Webkinz. Way to go on your report card Dara- we are so proud of you!!
Not only is school out, but another one of Dara's teeth came out. This was no ordinary tooth either. It was a stubborn eye tooth that refused to come out. So stubborn in fact, that when the new tooth started coming in, it was pushing this one straight out (see above picture). Yes we have some nice pictures of our precious Dara and her horizontally protrudung eye teeth! There is still one to go, but this was real victory to have this one out!

Now the tooth fairy can come- yeah!!!

Okay, I'm not sure what it is about the picture, but the first one of Dara with Victoria and Emily?... in that one Dara looks particularly grown up. Holy cow! She nearly looks like a (gasp!) pre-teen! Pretend you didn't hear me say that. ;)
